An intimate three-day gathering at the height of the Summer Solstice, where music, art and ideas unfold in dialogue with the natural world.

The Yurt

A 12′ diameter yurt, comfortably accommodating two to three people, or up to four with certain bed layouts. Full standing height throughout, with sturdy trellis walls and roof poles. The high-quality canvas cover includes a roof window and a fitted canvas door.

Sited within the Edenic gardens of Trematon Castle, overlooking the Tamar Estuary and around three and a half hours from London.

What’s Included

Your accommodation is set up before you arrive and includes:

• Waterproof groundsheet
• Floor covering
• Entrance mat and waste bin
• An LED lantern

Optional Extras

Every group is different. Some want just beds and bedding, some just furnishings, and some prefer to bring their own gear. Extras can be added individually to suit your stay.

Classic furnishings include:

• Handmade decorative rugs
• Large floor cushions
• A low rosewood table, roughly the size of a bedside table
• A small mirror
• A towel for each occupant

Beds and bedding are offered as separate items. Fitting rectangles inside circles is not straightforward, so a bed configuration must be chosen from the available options. Bedding consists of a sheet, a 13.5 tog duvet in a duvet cover, pillows in pillowcases and a blanket.

Phone charging: a domestic-style electric socket can be ordered for charging devices.

About SOLSTICE

Curated by Nature, The Artist, SOLSTICE recognises Nature not as backdrop, but as artist, muse, composer and source. The festival brings together a carefully curated line-up of musicians, artists and thinkers whose work explores our relationship with the living world, including performances, installations and conversations that unfold in dialogue with the land.

Across the weekend, guests are taken on a journey through sound, ceremony, dance and ideas. From live music and DJ sets under open skies to workshops, Nature-based practices and shared moments marking the turning of the solstice, the programme is designed to be immersive, celebratory and deeply connective.

Set within the gardens of Trematon Castle, the festival offers a rare opportunity to gather in an extraordinary landscape where history, nature and creativity meet.

With capacity limited to around 300 guests, SOLSTICE is intentionally intimate, creating space for meaningful connection, collaboration and a shared cultural moment. It is a not-for-profit gathering, with 100% of profits supporting Nature restoration through EarthPercent and the Sounds Right Conservation Fund.

Booking Information

Accommodation bookings do not include festival entry tickets, which must be purchased separately from the event’s ticket agents.

Final balance payments are due three weeks before events open to the public.
